WIG WANTS YOU!

WIG is in seriously great shape, Ladies. Lots of new Members, good finances, and 2026 events already in process. 

All we need is a VP to get familiar with things over the next 9 months by sitting in on the virtual meetings – that’s it. By May 2026, equipped with thorough information and working with an Executive of awesome WIG members, you’ll be more than ready to be President. 

In a nutshell, here’s what the President does –

• Holds 6-8 virtual Executive meetings a year – mostly during the playing season – for which sample agendas and minutes are provided along with an annual calendar that outlines what happens when.

• Support the Executive Members who are responsible for Membership, Events, Finance, and Communication….and, boy, are they good at what they do! Full role descriptions are available.

• Conduct, with your team, the 2027 AGM; a template is ready to go

• Have the back-up of the Past President for the 2026 season

WIG has streamlined how we operate and are continuing to do so into 2026. Don’t miss this chance to be part of  the illustrious history of a venerable 67-year-old organization. It doesn’t matter how long or short you’ve been a WIG, how many WIGs you personally know, what calibre of golfer you are, or whether or not you look like the woman in the pearls above – you are going to succeed and have fun doing it.
