2025 BioSteel Player of the Year Rankings
The rankings attest to the depth of golfing talent among WIG Members. Players earn points specified by Golf Ontario for their finish in any number of the designated events.
Women’s Senior Amateur Category
Of the six wins indicated, results are clearly in the WIG corner with Judith Kyrinis who locked up first place with 3 wins and Carolyn Gallinger in sixth place with one. WIGs competed in one to 7 events, accumulating points for each. They included Marion Reed (4th), Ivy Steinberg (5th), Shelley Lothian (11th), Kim Caranci (13th), and Carolyn McCullough-Agnew (14th). Also on the list of 94 players are Meredith Stanford, Pauline Kelly, Julie Girard, Michele Charles, Julie Green, Ann Rosa, Lisa Taylor, Kathie Houghton, Soon Huh, Deborah Grieve, Betty Divot, Lynn Lean, Wynnie Lam, Susan Bell, Cheri Grogan, Sandra Pacas, Sharon DeLorenzi, Jayne Chalmers, Helen Williams, Lynne Gilligan, Kelly Koselek, Cheryl Wakefield, Tracey Luel, and Janelle Fairgrieve.
Women’s Mid- Amateur Category
In sixth place is Judith Kyrinis, winning the only eligible tournament in which she competed. Also among the rankings of 53 players are Shelley Lothian (11th), Marion Reed (12th), Meredith Stanford (T13th), Julie Girard (17th), and Ivy Steinberg (20th).
